This track was inspired by Lyle Swedeen when he was playing as the house band at the Gay 90's located in Minneapolis, MN. One night after playing at this venue in 1994 Lyle Swedeen had noticed a homeless Veteran huddled up next to the building near the heat exhaust. The irony of this experience is what produced this this classic song as an attempt to raise awareness on the misfortunes of United States Veterans along with the GBLTQ community and the disregard to both community members. Lyle Swedeen supports human rights as described in the United Nations and this was his way of inspiring a multi-generational, multi-sexual, multi-generational reality on this so called planet Earth.
